About The Lakes Spring Lake is a spring fed lake that has the stream inflow and outflow on the north and south portions of the lakes' west side. We have caught walleye up to 26.5 inches long, smallmouth bass up to 20 inches, and northern pike well over 10 pounds. We have caught many perch and watched schools of minnows, so baitfish are abundant. The fishing is easy and plentiful. Depth readings of 50 feet are in the center of the lake with a good portion of the lake over 30 feet. This lake is perfect for family use. Legend has it that the previous owners only allowed canoes and electric trolling motors on the lake. We have honored that and also have not operated a gas motor on the lake. On the west shore there is a portage trail going to ANOTHER lake called Preacher Lake. We own the only boat on the lake, and there are no cabins and very limited access to that lake. Off Lake in front of the property is a spring fed lake that offers fishing for walleye, crappie, smallmouth bass, and northern pike. Smaller clusters of cabins occupy this lake and boat traffic is minimal. The lake is large enough for larger boats for water skiing, tubing and pontoon use. The Off Lake shoreline is sandy with good gradual depth for airplane or boat docking.
