The Property
This property was developed as the Spring Lake Lodge Resort in the early 1930's. It began as a fly-in outpost camp until the 1950's when the road was put in going to Clearwater Lake. The parcel is approximately 17 acres in size, with 1000' of frontage on Off Lake, and 300' of frontage on Spring Lake.
What is truly unique about this parcel is that while the main frontage is on Off Lake, the key to the property is the 300 feet of frontage on Spring Lake located up a small hill on the back side of the property. This lake has NO OTHER ACCESS and NO OTHER CABINS on it. Other than the frontage owned, the entire balance of Spring Lakes' lakeshore is owned by the Canadian Government.
We have chosen to market this property as one premium parcel with multiple building sites rather than plat and sell multiple lots. This would make an ideal parcel for a family looking to build multiple homes. Whether one dwelling or 3, the privacy of Spring Lake will have you feeling like you are on a remote fly-in fishing trip every time you step into your boat. A home could be built on Sping Lake lakeshore, with the back of the home overlooking Off Lake, some 40 feet in elevation difference.
The property is serviced by the public utility Hydro One and telepone by Bell Canada. There are currently two septic systems that service a cabin and restroom/shower/laundry building. The buildings are serviced by underground power, and there is 200 amp electrical service at the property. The filtered water system is fed from Spring Lake. With public power and telephone/internet to the property, buildings could be monitored for heat control and security functions while not occupying the property.
